What time is Check-in and Check-out?
Check in is at 3pm.
Check out is at 11am.
Can I request an early check-in or late check-out?
Both early check-in and late check-out are available upon request.
All guest room codes become active at 3pm on the day of arrival. Please reach out 1-2 Days prior to arrival to request a time.
Does the Douglas have an Elevator?
No. Due to the historic nature of the building the Douglas does not have an elevator. All Suites are located on the 2nd floor with stair access only. For assistance with baggage please reach out 1-2 days prior to arrival and one of our staff members will be happy to assist.
Is breakfast provided?
The Douglas provides coffee in the units as well as a discount to a local Coffee Shop. The Douglas encourages it's guest to support the local eateries on 3rd Street where there are many wonderful breakfast spots all within walking distance.
Are children welcome at the Douglas?
Children 10 and up are welcome at the Douglas.
*Violations to the Children's Policy will result in a $100 Charge / Per Child / Per Night of stay.
Is the Douglas Pet Friendly?
Yes. We have designated a number of our Suites to accommodate up 2 well behaved fury friends. Please double check that your desired unit accepts pets prior to booking. This is noted on both the Suites description page as well as the booking engine.
*Please note that the rooms are on the second floor and The Douglas does not have an attached grassy area. Dogs are not allowed to be left unattended in the room. There is a nonrefundable pet package fee of $40 per dog per night.
Does the Douglas have a front desk?
The Douglas is entirely Self Check-in and does not have a front desk. We have staff on-site everyday but those hours may vary. Our staff is available to assist you throughout the entirety of your stay. Simply call us directly and we can help.
If Staff are not on-site how can we reach you?
The Douglas Team is available 24/7 by both phone and email. We have multiple team members on-call at any given time to ensure your requests are met.
Is the Bungalow On 7th located on the Douglas Property?
The Bungalow On 7th is located 4 blocks away and still within the historic walking district.
Is there parking on-site and is it free?
Yes. There is free Parking located in a private parking lot behind the Douglas Building that is specific for Douglas Guests. When you arrive to your suite you'll find a parking pass that can be placed in your car for the duration of your stay.
Is Laundry available on-site?
Our laundry room is available upon request.
Do you have a fitness center?
Each unit is provided with a Yoga Mat and two complimentary bottles of water for travel friendly fitness. We have also hightlighted a few fitness options around the area in our favorites page, Here.
Does the Douglas have a meeting space?
At the moment we do not have a meeting space but have many recommendations on where to host your meetings within walking distance of the Douglas. Please call to inquire.
What are the Hotel Quiet Hours?
Quiet hours are from 10pm - 8am. If there are excessive noise disruptions that result in complaints from other guests between this time you could be fined up to a full reservation rate.
What is the Hotel Cancellation Policy?
Cancellations require a 7 Day Notice prior to date of arrival for a full refund. For cancellations within 7 days, the guest is responsible for the full value of the reservation, less any value Douglas On Third is able to recoup by re-booking the unit (minus a 10% transaction fee). No refunds for units not re-rented. Failure to give notice for a cancellation will result in full charge for reservation.
